What do I get for my Money?
I allow up to 50 hours per wedding through out the year, for research, organising, travel, phone calls, our regular meetings with the Bride and Groom. You also receive wedding day Co-ordination, and a wedding planner diary so you can keep upto date with all of your meetings and deadlines.

When do we need to Pay?
For the Wedding planning and Wedding day co-ordination, there are 2 payment plans. These are either 5 payments of around £400 spread out through out the year, or an option to pay over 12 months. All services must be paid in full 2 weeks before the wedding day.
For wedding Stationary the funds will be due once you receive the goods.

Who receives the Commision and disounts from your Contacts?
There will always be a discount and commision on certain parts of the wedding, especially if my contacts have been recommended and a very popular contact of mine. On things like Venue, flowers, dresses and jewllery,
All discounts and Commision will go straight to you, my client. I aim to get the best price for my customers, a wedding can be a very expensive day, so if the cost of your total wedding comes under your budget, then it gives you that extra cash to spend on some little extras.

Frequently Asked Questions..

Why do I need a wedding planner?
Having a wedding planner takes away the hassle and stress of having everything organised for you. We have the ideas and experience on things you are unsure about.

We support you through out your experience, but most importantly we take care of your budget and make sure we get the right price.

How often do we meet?

This is entirely up to you. I do not like to take over, i work in any way you wish and get involved as little or as much as you need.

I can arrange to come with you and your partner on every visit at no extra cost, or just advise on the best contacts and prices. I work differently with every client,

Who Will attend on the day?

This will be me, Zara Dowthwaite, founder of A Simple Essence. I like to work with my clients from the beginning until the end. With very large weddings I some times bring an assistant with me who will attend on the day to help. If an extra assistant is required I will advise the client at least 6 months before the wedding day.
